Fallbrook, California: Community Baptist Church

On behalf of the members of Community Baptist Church, I warmly invite you to come and worship with us.  Our Sunday morning schedule includes Sunday school for all ages at 8:55 a.m., with Worship at 10:00 a.m.  Nursery and preschool care is provided throughout Sunday morning.

Most Sundays, those in 1st thru 4th grade are dismissed just before the sermon to attend "children's church," where they receive an age-appropriate lesson.  Following worship we gather for a time of refreshment and fellowship.  We have communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Our worship is family-oriented, with a blend of both traditional and contemporary styles.  Our music ministry is supported by talented pianists, a praise team and a choir, and the teaching and preaching of Scripture holds a prominent place in our Sunday service.

To all who choose to visit Community Baptist Church:

Our hope is that you will feel welcomed in every way.
Our prayer is that your faith will be nourished,
your love of the Lord deepened,
and your hope strengthened
as you come to worship with us.

May Jesus Christ be praised,

Jason Oakes
Senior Pastor

My Dear Church Family,

Sharing our faith can sometimes feel like a daunting task.  Many of us feel overwhelmed about the thought of talking to others about Jesus because we are shy, scared of hurting our relationship or afraid of a negative reaction.  Other times we may be scared of not knowing the answer to a question that might be asked or not know how to bring up Jesus in a conversation.

If you are asking some of these practical questions as you walked through the door this morning, you are in the right place.  Welcome!  We’re glad you’re here!

Pastor Jason

Verse of the Day

Impact Challenge of the Week

One of the most powerful things that we can ever do for ourselves is to “reverse engineer” our lives. Reverse engineering is the process of discovering the technological principles of a device, object or system through analysis of its structure, function and operation.

Applying this process to our lives, we ask the big questions of what we want our life to look like, and then we work our way backwards asking the question, “How do I get from where I am now to where I want to be?” We then break the goal up into several smaller goals and begin working towards those goals one at a time.

You can apply this process to any area of your life, but one area that I would suggest is that of “making disciples.” What books are you going to read? What tools do you need to acquire? What people do you need to talk to? What habits do you need to develop? What sins and vices do you need to ditch?

Challenge: Take some intentional time this week to think through these questions. Identify some key strategic goals for yourself in this area and pick one that you are going to follow up on right now. Then, get started. Your 8 to 15 are waiting!
