These cookbooks, that include 150 recipes submitted by members and friends of CBC, promise to make wonderful gifts for family and friends. They are available for $5 each. We can also arrange to mail you a cookbook for $7 plus shipping & handling. Call the church office to request one by mail or to make arrangements to pick one or more up at a time other than a Sunday morning. Thanks go to everyone who contributed a recipe.

Dear friends,
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What a privilege it is for me to commend this cookbook to you. It includes recipes collected from the members and friends of the Community Baptist Church of Fallbrook. As pastor, I have sampled many of these varied dishes over the years and can speak to just how delicious they are. I can also say that I have never left a Community Baptist Church potluck without saying, “That’s the best potluck ever.” What has made these potlucks so good has not only been the great tasting main dishes, breads, salads and desserts, but also the loving and caring people who prepared their special recipes to share with others. And now they share them with you.
It is around the table of fellowship that we often take time to share the joys and struggles of our faith. What a joy it is to share both good food and good fellowship. May this cookbook bring you both.
I thank all those who have taken the time to submit their recipes for inclusion into this cookbook. I pray that the Lord bless them for sharing their gifts with us. I also especially thank Amy Oakes for not only coming up with the good idea of having a Community Baptist Church cookbook, but also for “taking the lead” and ensuring that it got done.
