Rachel Eades’ Valentine recital was attended by 80 people in our Sanctuary on Saturday February 10th. All enjoyed listening to Rachel play violin and piano, she was joined by Gracie Fowler on Oboe and Jean Dixon on piano during one of her numbers. Approximately $850.00 was collected for CROP Walk. Thanks to all that helped to make this event successful.
CROP Walk: We have about 50 walkers from CBC so far—wow! Our CROP Walk table is set up in our church patio and if you would like to join these walkers, please stop by the table and sign up. Don’t wait—CROP Walk 2008 takes place on March 9th—that’s just 2 weeks away! If you would like to sponsor walkers, you may easily do so by stopping by as well. The annual CROP Walk is an interfaith project of Church World Services. In Fallbrook, people sponsor us to walk the 5K around town. Many other churches in Fallbrook participate as well. Fallbrook receives 25% of the funds to assist the Food Pantry. The balance of the funds goes to feed the hungry around the world.
