Wounded Warriors Ministry
The Military Ministry Fund was established in the early 1990’s to honor Lt. John B Kerner, a devout Christian, who died off the coast of North Carolina in a helicopter crash in 1985. The fund established in his name has been used to assist and support military families since that time. Thousands of dollars have been disbursed to assist families in need, to support Bible studies on base, to assist in transportation of military families during transfers, to provide emergency food, and most recently, to support the Wounded Warriors program at Camp Pendleton. We are seeking the Lord’s guidance as to how he would have us use this fund in the future, Any suggestions on how we can better support military families would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to give towards this ministry of the church, please indicate “Lt. John B. Kerner” on the memo line of your check.
